Windows Setup Overview
Windows Setup is an installer that prepares a hard disk drive for a Microsoft Windows operating system installation by executing two processes: a) initializing the drive and b) copying system files to that drive in order for the operating system to be run locally.
To install Windows, you need to Change Computer BIOS Settings first. The BIOS is a set of built-in options that allows you to change system aspects like the data and time. Since the BIOS is tied to a computer's motherboard, the appearance of each computer's BIOS will vary slightly depending on the manufacturer.
Restart your computer. Open Start, click the power icon and click Restart.
Wait for the computer's first startup screen to appear. Once the startup screen appears, you'll have a very limited window in which you can press the setup key. Press and hold Del or F2 to enter setup. Wait for your BIOS to load.
Note:
Press and hold Del or F2 to enter setup. The key you're prompted to press might also be different; if so, use that key instead.
You'll typically use the "F" keys to access the BIOS. These are at the top of your keyboard, though you may have to locate and hold the Fn key while pressing the proper "F" key.
You can look at your computer model's manual or online support page to confirm your computer's BIOS key.
Wait for your BIOS to load. After successfully hitting the setup key, the BIOS will load. This should only take a few moments. When the loading is complete, you will be taken to the BIOS settings menu.
Step 2: Changing the boot order
If you want to change what device to boot from, enter the Boot menu. From here, you can designate which device the computer will attempt to boot from first. This is useful for booting from a disc or flash drive to install or repair an operating system.
You'll typically use the arrow keys to go over to the Boot tab to start this process.
When you are finished adjusting your settings, you will need to save and exit by using your BIOS' "Save and Exit" key in order for your changes to take effect. When you save and restart, your computer will reboot with the new settings.
Note:
Since BIOS menus don't support mouse input, you'll need to use the arrow keys and other computer-specific keys to navigate the BIOS. You can usually find a list of controls in the bottom-right corner of the BIOS homepage.
When adjusting settings in your BIOS, be sure that you certain what the settings will affect. Changing settings incorrectly can lead to system or hardware failure.
If you don't know what you want to change coming into the BIOS, you probably shouldn't change anything.

Step 3: Installation
Before you proceed with the installation, it may be necessary to enter the BIOS and set your machine boot order to USB or DVD drive as the first bootable option. See instructions above.
1. Insert or attach your bootable media to PC. Restart your PC. Once the startup screen appears, Press and hold Del or F2 to enter setup. Wait for your BIOS to load. Choose the bootable media from boot tab. When a black screen windows with a message “Press any key to boot from …” appears, press Enter key.
2. The following windows will occur.
If you want to, you can verify that the language, time/currency, and keyboard input fields are all correct. If not, keep default. Click Next.
3. Click the Install Now button.
(If you're installing Windows 10 for the first time or upgrading an old version, you must enter a genuine product key. However, if you're reinstalling Windows 10, you can click I don't have a product key option to continue (assuming that your computer was already activated).
4. Now select the Windows 10 version you wish to install. Then, click Next.
(This selection must match the edition your product key activates. For most users this will, and is recommended to be, Home version. Educational and other users should select according to the type of license identified on your product packaging or information.)
5. Select I accept the license terms to agree option to continue. Click the Next button.
6. Click on Custom: Install Windows only (Advanced) option.
7. Select the partition with the current installation of Windows (usually "Drive 0"), and click the Format button to remove old data from the hard drive. Click the Yes button to confirm the format.
Quick Tip: If you have multiple partitions, on the primary hard drive (Drive 0), you can select and delete each of the partitions to allow the setup to use the entire drive for the installation. Windows 10 will create the required partitions automatically during the installation. If you have multiple hard drives, you don't need to delete those partitions.
8. Select the empty drive (Drive 0 Unallocated Space). Click the Next button.
9. Once you've completed the steps, the setup will proceed to install Windows 10 on your device. After this, your computer might reboot several times.
10. Now, if you have product key then enter it, or not, then click on Do this later as Windows 10 automatically detects the hardware and automatically activates itself. Also on “Let’s get connected” window choose Skip this step button. There is very good reason for that if your connection gets slow or fails you don’t want to interrupt the installation process.
11. You can customize your settings as you want. But, I will suggest you click on Use Express settings.
12. Create an account for your PC to make it secure, enter Username, password and password hint If not want to, click on Next button.
Now, you almost completed the installation and setup process of Windows 10, the following window will appear, this means windows is settings your apps and other stuff. After that, you will be successfully booted into Windows 10.
