UNetbootin Overview
UNetbootin (or Universal Netboot Installer) is a free, open source utility that allows you to create bootable USB drives for the most popular OS such as Microsoft Windows and Linux distros (e.g. Fedora, Ubuntu and others).
It can do a lot of things: create bootable USB drive, write an image (ISO) to a blank CD, download an image with a certain distribution (there a lot of them available: FreeBSD, FreeDOS, Gentoo, Kaspersky Rescue Disk, F-Secure Rescue CD) for you etc. It can create a bootable Live USB drive. It loads distributions either by downloading an ISO (CD image) files for you or by using an ISO file you've already downloaded.
Select an ISO file or a distribution to download, select a target drive (USB Drive or Hard Disk), then reboot once done. If your USB drive doesn't show up, reformat it as FAT32. If you used the "USB Drive" install mode: After rebooting, boot from the USB drive. On PCs, this usually involves pressing a button such as Esc or F12 immediately after you turn on your computer, while on Macs, you should hold the Option key before macOS boots.
If you used the "Hard Disk" install mode: After rebooting, select the UNet bootin entry from the Windows Boot Menu. Download and run UNetbootin, then select the "disk image" option and supply it with an ISO (CD image). The most powerful feature is the the ability to create a bootable image right from your hard drive. If you don't have a blank CD or an USB drive, this feature will work on Linux OS and also on Microsoft Windows OS (though, GRUB needs to be installed on Windows - otherwise it won't work).
